Since January 14th, the French government has established new measures for international travel, in order to fight the covid-19 pandemic.
In addition to showing negative test results 72 hours before departure, travellers now must also self-isolate for 7 days after arrival.
A new certificate is available on the Ministry of Home Affairs website, that has to be filled in before travelling. The document certifies that :
- the traveller is not showing any symptom related to covid-19
- they have not been in contact with someone infected by the virus in the preceding 14 days
- they agree to self-isolate for 7 days after they arrive in France, and to take a second PCR test at the end of the 7 days
Please be aware that these measures can change rapidly. Check for updates on the Ministry of Home Affairs website.
